Wayne Madsen, an investigative reporter who went to Tripoli along with a fact-finding team, was interviewed by an RT news reporter, and stated that,
"There are some rebels who have gone back to Gaddafi. We have seen reports of NATO hitting rebel columns, uh, [but] there are other reports that these may be rebels trying to get back to Tripoli to re-join Gaddafi. Gaddafi has given amnesty to these people. Many former rebels, including one I spoke to said, 'Look, we weren't happy with Gaddafi. But when we saw NATO, including Italy, our former colonial occupier, join this thing...[we thought], OK, he's a dictator, [and] we've had him around for over 40 years, but darn it, he's a Libyan nationalist, and he has given us the highest standard of living in Africa."
So, we get it STRAIGHT FROM THE HORSE'S MOUTH, "the rebels," openly admitting what we at mathaba have been informing the world of for months: That Gaddafi is NOT a "brutal dictator" that has wreaked havoc on his people. It is clear that many of the rebels now, finally, see what will be in store for them if they allow themselves to participate in the destruction and division of Libya: alliance with a DANGEROUS SNAKE that would not have hesitated to do the SAME THING to them that it has done to their leader, Colonel Gaddafi, had they gotten in power.
These "rebels" are now beginning to appreciate the GOOD LIFE that they have had, for over 40 years, with the Brother Leader Colonel Muammar Gaddafi. Let us hope that the other rebels, who are still fighting against the man who LIBERATED them over 40 years ago, will finally come to their senses and STAND DOWN.
